1:What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?
Went skinny dipping. In a pool.

2:Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My resolution last year was to be healthier, and I definitely accomplished that. This year my resolution is to GET INTO LAW SCHOOL, and if that happens TO DO WELL.

3:Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope. Most of my friends are just getting engaged and no one in my family is old enough.

4:Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.

5:What countries did you visit?
None : ( I didn't do any traveling this year.

I really don't know. Probably taking my LSATs and doing all my applications for school while making the Dean's List.

9:What was your biggest failure?
Not doing any better on my second LSAT : (

10:Did you suffer illness or injury?
No. I've never broken a bone, had a surgery, or stayed in a hospital. I don't remember the last time I had a fever. My eyes have bothered me more than usual this year, but I think that's just a gradual change that I have to expect with my condition.

11:What was the best thing you bought?
I haven't bought anything big or special this year. Although, tomorrow I'm buying an exercise bike, so I'd say that's my best purchase.

12:Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My friend A, who has lymphoma and has done great with her chemo and is still going to graduate on time despite starting radiation this coming spring.

As much as I hate to say it, Blurred Lines.

Happier, skinnier, and just as poor.

18:What do you wish you’d done more of?
I wish I'd had more time to write.

More money.

Having nice friends. I've become really good friends with my roommate R and it has made such a big impact on my life.

32:Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
This is hard to say. I've been following M.I.A. closely because I was pumped for her new music but I don't have a lot of celebrity crushes.

33:What political issue stirred you the most?
Rights for the disabled, and the fact that NO ONE CARES ABOUT THEM.

Sounds like you had a pretty good year on the whole. Glad to hear it. :o)

I'm really loving the new MIA album too. I still haven't seen the documentary about her, got it cued up for the weekend. Really not on board with the Assange stuff but I love the stuff she says about people's personal experiences being dismissed in politics, the idea that unless you have a PhD in politics or whatever you should keep quiet. Definitely someone I fell a bit in love with in 2013, just sorry to be late to the party!

Hope you're enjoying the Christmas break xxx
hopefully the year has been more good than bad!

What is CCTV in this context and how does it help your work?
Oh yes, I'd definitely say this year has been good overall.

CCTVs are awesome, they're used all the time by people with residual vision who are still legally blind. I uploaded a pic and an explanation on my tumblr if you want to check out the post: http://lunaplath.tumblr.com/post/70358984330/this-is-a-cctv-or-closed-circuit-television-as
Always stay one step ahead of the game. Plan. Work hard. - This is sound advice. I think I only learned this year that I can work hard.

I hope your friend is okay!
