I don't know if anyone on my f-list watches America's Next Top Model, but it's probably my favorite reality TV show. It's actually the only reality TV show I watch. A few seasons ago there was a contestant named Allison Harvard who made it to the final two (meaning she was runner-up) and, to me, she looks like my mental image of Luna Lovegood. She has a crazy tumblr that I follow and a website where you can see some of her artwork.

She definitely has that quirky-ness I think of, and the styling in that picture makes me think of Alice in Wonderland.

Compared to some of the other contestants on this show, she stands out so much with her personal style and energy. Maybe this post is pointless/not very interesting to most of the people I know on LJ, but I couldn't help myself. THE BEAUTY. IS. MESMERIZING.

I watch TM with my daughter (to deconstruct as we watch) and I totally remember her. She's got an amazing look and yeah, very much a real life Luna.

My sister and I watch it together. Allison was one of my favs, and I really loved Amanda from the very early seasons. Also a platinum blonde with blue eyes, but Amanda was legally blind and still competing!

People can criticize the show, but I still like it ; )

yeah she does look very lunaish at times.

Her eyes seem dark at some times and lighter at others. Do you think that is a result of the photo techniques or is she wearing contacts or something?

That one in the middle with the red splodges on her face made me think of emillia clarke as Daenerys in the heart eating scene.

I'd say it's probably the filters/different lighting techniques. On the show her eyes always looked very blue to me and as far as I know that's a natural feature.

Good point--now that you mention it I can definitely see that.

I looooooved Allison so much! I really enjoyed that whole season actually but her pictures were just gorgeous. I watched ANTM up until last season's college one which I didn't care for so much. I liked the old way of judging tbh but I always love the photoshoots.

I've seen most of them as well, but haven't watched the college season. Different judging? Hm, guess I'll have to see for myself whether I like it or not.

I love LOVE the photoshoots, and the go sees where they get to meet actual designers.

Oh, wow, she really does look very Luna-ish. A bit sexier at times than I imagine Luna to be, but definitely the right look.

Hm maybe a mature-Luna. I agree though, Luna is more childlike to me but that may be because, like many children, she doesn't have much of a filter for her words/ideas.
